The next dreamgroup will run for 8 weeks in late 2025. To share your preferences for date and time, and to be notified once details are confirmed, please use the form below.
About dreamgroups:
These are dreamwork groups for folks to share their own dreams and respond meaningfully to others’. In narrating their dreams and relating them to their waking lives, dreamers will be guided by prompts that emphasize image and emotion. We’ll use the wisdom and diversity within the group to workshop a range of reflections on each dream shared, then emphasize what resonates with each dreamer. We’ll learn and grow in both roles: by sharing our own dreams, and by “borrowing” the dreams of others.
As we build dreamwork skills, we’ll practice noticing and respecting what feels right, rather than what merely sounds it. We’ll also exercise creativity and intuition, and deepen relational intelligence. Though this process centres verbal communication, members are also encouraged to tune in to physical sensations, and are welcome to bring other skills and modes of expression to the group. Throughout, we’ll all take care to respect the agency of each member, foster curiosity in the collective, and champion anti-oppressive values.
Format:
The group will be facilitated by me, Heather White, and made up of five to seven members. We’ll work closely with one dream each week; over the eight weeks, everyone will have at least one opportunity to share a dream.

The group fee is payable by etransfer in advance. A sliding scale, beginning at $385, is available for up to three members. To assess where you may fall on the sliding scale, please use this tool.
Who should join?
The group will benefit from a membership with a range of identities and experience. Anyone is welcome who:
-is interested in their dreams, and is open to new ways of working with them;
-feels comfortable (enough) sharing about themselves, and is curious about others; and
-can stay grounded while working with feelings, and can access outside support if needed.
Everyone who signs up will be invited to a 20 minute zoom call with me before the group begins. This will give us a chance to get to know each other a bit before beginning, and to make sure the group is a good fit for you.
About me:
I’m a white Anglo settler in Montreal with a longtime interest in my own and others’ dreams. This interest has taken various forms across my life: it’s shaped my writing practice, coloured my relationships, and often been a highlight in my clinical work as a psychotherapist.
Importantly, these dreamgroups are not group therapy, though my facilitation will doubtless be informed by my clinical training, as well as by my academic background in philosophy and art, and by myriad other life experiences and social positions.
